    Shockwave installation problem

    Hello,

I installed shockwave and for some reason it's not working for all browsers.
I already checked if they were enabled and they were, uninstalled, re-installed like 10 times and I still have the same problem.
Works on Internet Explorer, but not on WaterFox or Chrome.

Not sure what's going on since I've never had this problem before.

    Thank you.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Not sure if this is what's effecting Chrome or not but click on the 3 horizontal lines for settings and extensions and make sure flash is enabled,
Chrome will start freezing non-vital Flash elements on web pages soon | PCWorld

It's not even on my extension list, both chrome and waterfox, for some reason.

    Hi,
Well open your downloads I believe in both Chrome and Waterfox it's CTRL+J ?
See if flash "object" is sitting in there waiting to install ?

I use Pale Moon and it's a weird install for sure I can't remember what I had to do but I believe I ran it from the downloads folder :/

I uninstalled and tried to install and I've been having this problem:

Error opening file for writing: C:\Windows\system32\Adobe\Shockwave12\SWDNLD.exe". From there, I can 'abort', 'ignore' or 'retry'.

And C:\Windows\system32\Adobe\Shockwave12\SwDir_1220162.dll as well (when I press ignore).

I installed as admin and still didn't work.
I also tried the full installer but still not working.

    Update:
When I try to use sw_lic_full_installer I have this error:

Did you use the installer for non-IE browsers:

    auto blocked

Not sure if waterfox and Chrome have followed Firefox,

Flash/shock are now automatically dissabled in Firefox,
    You need to go to tools>> Add-ons>> Plug-ins << to update/allow it.
