daemon tools 4.30.4 no longer working for me using build 7600 - was working on build 7232

i tried reinstalling, got into an endless "setup must reboot to continue" loop

ultraISO still mounts virtual drives ok

Did you upgrade or clean install 7600?
If you upgraded, then you need to run regedit.exe, Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrectControlSet\services\sptd delete all in this. reboot.
Install Daemon tools 4.30 again, and after 1 or 2 reboots it is working again.

If you clean installed it, then I don't know, sorry.

    Yes, it is :)
At first I did not think so, because it needed 4 reboots in all.
    1. delete sptd in regdatabase. Reboot.
    2. install daemon tools lite 4.30 (it said something about could not find the version of SPTD, then installing SPTD)
    3. Installing SPTD (first install was apperently the legacy version, that daemontools wants to update)
    4. Now it is beginning to look good. It skipped the SPTD install, and begang installing Daemon tools, and at the end it asked if Daemon tools should be started, and I selected "YES". Then it started (was a little long time about it first time), and it is now working errorfree. Remember to tick the little field "don't show this anymore" in the warning window Win7 is popping up when starting daemontools.
