it worked for me too sven!

regedit wouldn't let me delete the whole key, so i deleted all that i could, and then run the d-tools setup.

it took me three reboots, then actually got to the custom install stage, and now it works perfectly.

thanks a lot for the tip sven :)

Well i have to agree with SIW2. I use Auslogics regdefrag and diskdefrag and they both hasn't caused any harm so far.

Add these to the list of non working programs:
*Cyberlink Power Director 7.0 (inc. Patch)
The program runs most of the time, with the occasional crash. But when processing a video, and after its completion it mucks up Windows Explorer, for example:
Deleteing the processed file leads to a constant never ending "discovering file" problem.
If the program crashes, windows explorer crashes and does not reboot. Only way of reversimg this problem is by restarting your computer.

Another program that i have found not to work with Windows 7 is
    Sony Vegas Pro 9
While trying to say edit the lenght of a video clip, the program stalls and crashes soon after.

I will update with more problematic programs free & paid for, asap

(Btw all programs were tested using Windows 7 Ultimate Beta 32Bit build 7100

Interesting because on W7 32 Bit Build - 7100 ive got iTunes 8.1.1.10 running fine, and did so on Vista Ultimate 32-Bit. It can have a few bugs, but these are easily fixed.

You can add IE7Pro (sometimes referred to as IEPro) to the avoid list.
It does not work properly on IE8, even though the authors say it does.
Some web pages cannot be displayed with this addon enabled, but when I disabled it the page loaded correctly. Same page loaded fine in FF3.5.
Looks like the folks at Innoshock have some catching up to do.
I hope they fix it soon as this is a handy addon when it is working properly.

    1. The Retail version of Bitdefender Antivirus2009 worked fine on my Windows XP Pro machine that just happened to be 64-bit ready. I decided to try the 64-bit versions of XP and 7 Ultimate. I received a link for the 64-bit version of Bitdefender AV 2009. It has no problems on Xp X64, but when booting Windows 7 X64 it has an error that states the Bitdefender TDI firewall filter is incompatible with this version of Windows. I've sent Bitdefender the info with no resolution yet.

    2. As reported in the other software thread the latest version of iTunes may say it's 64-bit, but it doesn't run as 64-bit. Not a reason to post it here, as I can use it with no problem along with others.

    3. I can't get Infrarecorder to even give the disc info of my Plextor 716SA drive. I tried it for it's native 64-bit capability. Is anyone else having a problem with Infrarecorder?

    4. Both the 32 and 64 bit versions of Internet Explorer will not close properly. An error window pops up saying it did close properly and asks me to click on "close Internet Explorer Now". Haven't read of others having this problem.
