this is a bit off topic, but since we are talking about free pdf readers, I recommend Sumatra PDF (Sumatra PDF viewer by Krzysztof Kowalczyk) as a standalone pdf viewer.

In view of this post We should consider Windows Blinds as a no-no.
Have been running the Win7 beta version and originally, would have agreed. But StarDock has come out now with a Beta 2 version and it works just fine -- on my machine, at least.

So, you should change the first post to indicate that Beta 2 works, just not the first beta.

Also, this is a commercial product, and while I know that various "cracks" are out there to allow folks to install and run it free, we need to be careful to not use THOSE results to judge the product. Could very well be that the product failing is a side-effect of the "cracks". My paid-for version of Beta 2 is working just fine.

Also, let's keep the discussion to WindowBlinds, not the other items in the Object Desktop suite. I haven't used those, so I can't say if they work, but there's every possibility that each product, in the OD suite, would have to be tried and tested on its own to see if it works OK with Seven.

"Let's" is a contraction of "Let us". I had to read a lot of posts before I could determine that your post was not rude.

Let us not limit this component of the discussion to Window Blinds, as some of us have purchased StarDock suites and other applications and subscriptions.

The other post, the one that said to consider WB a no-no, specifically mentioned MyColors -- which is NOT WindowBlinds but one of the many other products that are part of the OD suite.

What I was trying to convey was the following:
    1) WB does work in Windows 7, provided you are using the Beta 2 version
    2) MyColors and other OD products might very well NOT work in Windows 7, but we should consider them separately from WB.

Sorry if I didn't work it properly.
