    Avast works perfectly fine on 7. many have been using it since the beginning of Windows 7, including me.

    As this thread is for software that doesn't work properly yet on Windows 7, it's best to post your problem in a new thread in the appropriate forum section. Please explain with as much detail as you possibly can on the problem and hopefully someone will be able to help out. :)

    FileZilla (SFTP) seems to hang the entire OS when I try to copy a file to the desktop.

    If you see my other post in the general forum, I have no errors in the log, which means I have no idea what's happening.

    While DirectoryOpus 9.1.1.5 does install and work, the newer versions (9.1.1.7 and 9.1.1.8) won't install, claiming that the OS is not the right version.

    Update: Downloaded the very latest version from the DirOpus site, and it still complained about the OS version -- and was able to "force" the installation. It does actuall work. So, I'll add a post to the other forum about this.

    Sorry for any confusion.
