    Kickin' it old school!
I used to be the same way but, now I am starting to enjoy some of the time savers in Expression Web. Especially the real time code error correction.

It's an interesting question when I really think about it. I don't honestly think there is anything that I cannot live without. For example,
1). Windows OS: I could live without it and use Linux
2). ImgBurn for burning CD ISO's: I could use built-in burner in 7 or CDBurnerXP
3). Antivirus app: I could use Linux and not really have a need for it
4). Microsoft Office: There is always OpenOffice
5). DVD Fab Decrypter and DVD Shrink: I can use K9copy in Linux.
6). VMWare: There is Sun Virtual Box, or Microsoft Virtual PC, etc
    7). Media players; a dime a dozen
8). web browsers: I do prefer the plugs-ins for Firefox...but I don't need most of them
