Regarding services. I see that helppane.exe runs under svchost.exe dcomlaunch. svchost is just a way of grouping services together so you need to check that "DCOM Server Process Launcher" service is enabled.

If DCOM Server Process Launcher is not started or is disabled set startup type to "automatic" then reboot and test.

OK, sounds like you know you need to run SFC up to 3 times with a reboot after each run.
Hopefully all errors will be fixed.

Also, your specs show "Antivirus HitmanPro and Superanti spyware".
Is HitmanPro a real-time Anti-Virus program, or do you just use it for on-demand scans ?

DavidE, I forgot to answer your question about my anti spy ware. Yes, Hitman pro will scan when I log on, then go to sleep for the rest of the time as it were. It's almost at the end of the "paid" year. It was a really cheap offer and I find it very good! Can recommend it
