My laptop is damn slow after Auslogics defragmenter crash

I was deframenting All volumes with Auslogics Defragmenter. I was working with MS word Suddenly my system slowed down. Damn slow. Only thing that's moving faster is my mouse cursor. I minimised word window, it minimised after 20seconds. I found Auslogics Defragmenter in non-responsive mode. I clicked Startmenu to restart my system. I took 40seconds for me to click that restart button. My laptop shutdown after 4minutes. Now I turned on my system, everything is damn slow. System boots to logon screen normally. After I type password and press enter. Everything goes in slow motion. I have to wait one minute to get response for my every click. This happens even in safe mode.
    What to do?

When you defrag using any defrag program you should do nothing else on the computer until the defrag process is done.

I personally use Windows 7 built in defrag program. I do it manually (when I used hard drives). Some 3rd party defrag programs don't get along with Windows 7.

An abandoned defrag probably left a mess on your disk. You can try to defrag again or reload that disk.

    Hi whs,
This means a too much mess. I can literally do nothing other than moving my mouse over jammed desktop screen. I get responses for my clicks only after 2 to 3 minutes. I suspect I can go open that program again in an hour and wait for defragmentation to finish in weeks.
I would prefer to restore my last months Macrium backup.

I had played BF4 while defragmentation, and nothing happened. I think there is a bug with Auslogics software which ruined things.

Is there any other solution other than trying another defragmentation or Macrium Backup Restore.

In your case the Macrium restore looks like the best option.
