volume hotkey while in a full screen program

I'm looking for a way to create a hotkey for volume control and volume mixer and even a program that will
work when i'm in a full screen program or game.

    WMP - F8/F9 (affects in-app slider)
WMC - F9/F10 (affects sys tray slider)
VLC - mouse wheel, or ctrl + up/down arrow

when watching movies etc from the couch, I use a WMC remote whose volume button controls the sys tray volume slider, irrespective of what media player I'm using, (the app volume of VLC etc has to be up). The remote uses an IR usb gizmo.

A quick search says AutoHotKey might suit you, but I've not tried it.

Idk if that exists as it would have to tap into the volume mixer it self. EDIT: This stuff might give you what you want. Power Mixer Screenshots

That is what i prefer as i want to lower volume of other programs running while i'm in a full screen program or game that i cannot select in full screen. Just pressing a key to show the main volume slider and then clicking
'Mixer' under to show all apps volume sliders will be okay.

if you just want it to appear then do this setup with pinning it to the taskbar or using the file it self on a macro key. Windows 7 Audio Mixer - Alternative? - Super User

Never can make the volume sliders appearing while clicking the volume slider on the taskbar when in full screen mode with a app or game.
