    Need help w/ Rufus

I'm trying to create a Partition Wizard Boot CD/usb to manage partitions. I downloaded pwfree91-x64 & rufus-2.6, followed this but received this popup while doing so.

'ISO image seems to use an obsolete version of ‘vestment.c32’.
Boot menus may not display properly because of this

A newer version can be downloaded by Rufus to fix this issue:
    - Choose ‘yes’ to connect to the internet & download the file
    - Choose ‘no’ to leave the existing ISO file unmodified
If you don’t know what to do, you should select ‘yes’.
    '

I know it suggests to select 'yes' if unsure, but I'm always apprehensive about downloading things I know little or nothing about. Can anyone explain what's going on here???

You can say "Yes" and Rufus will download the new vesa menu and use it. There is absolutely no problem. I advise the OPs to do this every time I ask them to create a bootable PW pendrive with Rufus..

When Rufus creates a bootable PW boot CD pendrive with that new vesa menu and you boot from it, you will straightaway get the following boot menu

    Boot from MiniTools Partition Wizard

Boot from MiniTools Partition Wizard (Safe Mode)

Boot from MiniTools Partition Wizard ( Compatibility mode)

    Boot from Local Disk

You can create a bootable CD pendrive without the new vesa menu by saying NO.

When you boot from such a pendrive where PW is using an old vesa menu, you will get an error message that the vesa menu is not a COM 32 file and you will repeatedly get to the BOOT: prompt.

You will not know what to do and raise a query here. :)

Against the boot prompt you can type linux0 [Enter] and it will boot into PW
linux1 [Enter] - PW (Safe Mode) linux2 [Enter] PW (Compatibility mode)

I had to do quite a bit of research to find this out long ago :).

Thanks Jumanji, I ended up clicking on yes and downloading the newer vestment.c32 version . Got it all setup on flash drive and working fine!
