Software causing BSODs
Hi Seven Forum :
I recently re-installed Windows 7. So far it's running...well...okay. My main question is about one piece of software that DID work in the past. It's called Turbo Floor Plan 3D. It's a great program. But recently, it started causing BSODs (?). One question I do have is........if a software isn't compatible with the OS....wouldn't it just...not function at all ? Or, some features in the software would malfunction ? But, lately this software was causing System Crashes. I've used this software in the past, and it functioned well. I changed the video card and RAM. One time, I tried running the software is Safe Mode, and had no problem. Going along with that........how can I find out why Turbo Floor Plan is causing this. Like I said, in Safe Mode, it functioned quite well. I really like the software, and I "hate to see it go" (I guess I can find a substitute). As a side note : Turbo Floor Plan 3D is a highly graphic intense program. I just check the requirement on the back of the original package, and my System meets the requirements. I have more than enough Page File space, Disk space and memory. This may be the place, but I'm not sure HOW to diagnose the problem in Safe Mode or "regular" mode (when I'm logged in). garystan
