Avira and Avast are just two of many free anti-virus or internet security suites; I recommend custom/advanced install so one only installs needed modules/services. One can use Auslogics and Wise registry cleaners if used very cautiously and carefully; Wise Disk Cleaner is also very good. Do not do anything else with Auslogics or Wise menu boards, lest ye encounter more grief than joy.
