Adding Search Engine to Notepad ++ ?

To any here who may be familiar with Notepad++,

The title basically says it. I'd like to know if it's possible to add a search engine to Notepad++. Presently it allows me to highlight a word and search Google or Wikipedia. But I'd like to be able to search an online thesaurus site, since NP++ doesn't have a thesaurus plug-in of its own. (I mainly use NP++ for composing text, not coding.) There seems to be no way to add one, but not knowing that much about these things I could easily be missing something.

Just FYI I do have Word 2007 but I often prefer using a smaller program like NP++ for many things but miss the instant access to a thesaurus (for synonyms mainly). I figured, since I often have my browser open anyway, I could get by with an online search at if I could get NP++ to recognize it. And I'd prefer the ease of a few keyboard clicks in NP++ to do the search rather than having to have a thesaurus site opened all the time in the browser and enter the information manually.

Anyway, thanks for any feedback!

(Btw, I'll spare any readers an extended description of my failed attempt to get NP++'s own forum site to recognize my recently created Twitter account (opened just for the purpose of starting a thread there). But that does explain why I'm posting here. Besides I got very helpful NP++ help here the last time I had a question, so....)

Based on your description, and if I understand it correctly, have you tried the LanguageHelp plug in?

It might work for you, I don't know, but it's worth a try.

Search Engine ?
Hello, Is there a free, or inexpensive, search engine that will search the text in the documents in all my files, and not just by file name ? In other words, literally searching every text word on PC, wherever it might be, looking for a match. Thanks, Bob

Is there a research search engine?

I use to click discussions to filter this out but I run into the almighty useless google groups discussions instead of finding...
Firefox Search Engine
I have used Google Toolbar on Firefox for a couple of years. I got a Firefox Update today and Google is no longer compatible with Firefox. I have tried a few other search engines like Bing and they are also not compatible. What Search Engine Toolbar do you have on Firefox? Thanks,
