Would anyone be able to recommend me a good program to record Skype group calls? Or if possible, might there be a way for a standard recording program, say Audacity to somehow grab it?
I assume you want to record audio only.
If that's the case, Audacity may be able to record everything you hear--all parties to a conversation.
I say "may be" because not all sound cards offer the "stereo mix" aka "what you hear" recording feature.
If yours does not, you might have to look at a program such as Total Recorder, which may be able to work around the issue.
Yes I ment audio only, and I'm fairly certain I have access to stereo mix, but will my own microphone show up if I record stereo mix, or will I have to record two tracks next to each other, one being stereo mix and one my microphone... assuming that's possible?
I have stereo mix, but have never tried to capture my own voice along with whatever else was passing through the sound card.
I'd go to Totalrecorder.com and look at the various applications they have.
