Software to Play SWF Files Without having Flash Installed

Hi fellas.

I was wondering if there is a software able to do this, without depending on Flash ActiveX plugin (Irfanview, cannot play SWF files if that is not present...) and that, probaby, offers hardware acceleration without too much hassle (Flash hates me for no reason in this regard XD). I've also tried the option of converting them to EXE files, but some files play very poorly (slow or laggy), because of... tada! hardware acceleration not being used...

I've looked for options, but all need the plugin installed... any ideas?

Thanks in advance guys
