    Reimage Repair cant uninstall


    Hi all at some point I installed "Reimage Repair" didn't like so I thought I uninstalled it, but every now and then it has a pop up telling me I have things needing fixing, this programme no longer in program and features, and also in the start menu its there but empty ? .... does anyone know how I can rid of this program windows 7 ultimate cheers

    Hi Web,
    have a look in task Scheduler ,system config and prefetch, see if you DONT recognise anything, look them up then either delete or uncheck.
    and i wouldn't use it

    I have 55 tasks that have not expired am I ok to delete these but none mention reimage repair, also since visiting task scheduler (cant remember deleting anything) my win 7 OS shuts down and restarts as normal been having problems with that too ??? on a different post here

    ps still got the reimage repair niggle tho

    on inspection found an entry called tweakbit pc repair kit

    I suspect thats the Niggler, delete it.

    As for the others leave them for the moment might have to check them individually

    Your this problem is confirm as a malware.

    Do Google search on the name "Reimage Repair", with results;

    Windows Malware Removal for Windows 7

    Check if the attachment is the download file.

    installed adwcleaner_5.201 this hopefully has uninstalled/deleted the "reimage repair" program not got any pop ups for a few days now, so fingers crossed, thanks for everyone's help
