Convert Notepad File And Encrypt In One Step?

We have files that we convert to PDF, but we are looking for a software that can convert it to PDF and encrypt it in one step. I've seen PDFTK, but that would require us to convert, and then encrypt in a separate step. I know it's petty, but it's what the boss wants. Let me know if anybody has something that looks like it can accomplish this, thank you.
