Network monitoring tools for Windows (7 and 10)

    Hi Guys,

I have recently come up with this article related to the best network monitoring tools Top 15 best network monitoring tools for 2016 |
Could you tell me which of the mentioned in the article is the best choice for Windows monitoring?
I am looking for an open source solution. In the future, if the tools can scale, probably we can move to enterprise support, however, at this moment the goal is to go to a open solution.
I have heard about OpenNMS as well. Any thought?

My installation is full of Windows 7 and 10 and server 2008. I have a full range of applications (IIS, ORacle, MySQL, ...)

    Any tip would be appreciated.

I suggest to try freeware options, obviously. You can do it whenever you got spare time. Pandora FMS must be your first option to try as you mentioned their website and an article there. As for me, i`m using Total Network Inventory pc audit program to scan my network. All monitoring tools has now similar interfaces and options like scanning, controlling software, hardware options, licenses, deployment tools etc

Hi Fangs2, I tried PC Audit Monitoring and we couldn't use it properly in our IT infrastructure as it is not showing the history of device parameters for devices. I was looking more for a centralized system that can help us in monitoring all the device types. From open source system I managed to get one that responded to most of the IT monitoring needs Librenms. We deploy it within a day and we bought a UPS monitoring dashboard specifically for UPS units, so we can see all the UPS units in a dashboard, servers in another and network equipment in another.
It is nice to have an open source monitoring system to monitor hundreds of devices and don't pay licence for it.
