    excel question re formatting

I have an Excel file with 10 pages. Over the years I have changed format (one page is TNR12, another is Arial 10, etc.) between pages. If I wanted to adopt the same format to all 10 pages, is there a way through the program of doing this automatically or do I have to change format one page at a time by hand? Thanks in advance.

I just realized this should have gone under Excel but I regret I don't know how to move it. Any assistance appreciated in advance.

    Tony,

I just tried to select all sheets and change the fonts globally in an Excel file with no success. Unless there is a method that I'm not aware of, I think you'll have to do each page individually.

If you do find a way, please let me know. It's something that I would love to know how to do.

You can script it with a macro.

I was a Quattro Pro/DOS user some years back, would one be able to highlight the entire spreadsheet and then do the format choices? Or, was that tactic removed since the DOS [Fred Flintstone] days? Of course, have a backup of that excel file before trying any global-highlighting.
