Thank you, Mellon Head... That's exactly the sort of information I could not find on Paint.net site. Small things such as :

I use PaintdotNet a lot. If you "copy" an image, any image, click on "new",or 'file - new' or ctrl-N, a new file opens with the same dimensions as your 'copied' file. Then click on 'paste'/or ctrl-V, walla, , , PDN default size is 800x600.

edit: (fwiw, I use Graphics Workshop & occasionally mspaint, copying an image in any of these 3 (PDN also) progs, you can paste to/in the other two)
