    Java update


    Hi,
    Java update tab is missing from the Java Control panel.
    How do I get it back?
    In my other computer it works OK, of course even in the registry but here.

    idk... I can't remember how I may have fixed it when I last had this issue.. but I never bothered with the builtin update tab much anyhow.. I disable auto updating via the Control panel and its startup exe via CCleaner..

    I download all update straight from
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/ja...ads/index.html

    Go for JRE and download "Windows x64 Offline"... or at least that is what I would suggest based on your stated system specs.
