Can I convert and if yes, how, a .zip file to .srt?

Hello. I have a zipped subtitle file, which can`t be opened in a player. I tried to open it to see if in it there is a .srt file in it - there wasn`t. Can I do something about it?

you should unzip the zip file then tell us what you get. Must be something in there.
