Adobe Reader & Acrobat uninstall
My new laptop came preloaded with Adobe Reader, which I do not (and have not) used for years.
I prefer PDF-XChange (cheaper and a lot less bloat)
Can I remove Reader with Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool. ?
I recently removed Adobe Reader with Revouninstaller PRO resulting in a BSOD, requiring a fresh reinstall of non-Lenovo (ISO) Win-7 PRO x64. Consequently Reader was installed by the pc tech (not me) along with other crud I will never use.
Am I right in assuming that I cannot live without Flash entirely ? ... HTML5 is not as entrenched as we would like. My knowledge of Flash/HTML5 is zero.
Either Adobe Reader has very long tentacles into Windows OS ... OR ... the BSOD was my fault for not paying attention to REVO's suggested registry keys to delete.
Another recent uninstall with Revo had the entire branch of a very junior key all ticked for deletion when only the most junior key should have been ticked by default for removal.
I will be contacting Revo about this default anomaly.
Informed opinions would be appreciated, thank you :)
