    Another option.

    Install Everything Search.
If it finds McAfee you can right tick on it and select (delete).

    voidtools

If that doesn't work the only other thing I can think of editing the registry.
One must be very careful with Everything Search and regedit.
Once one removes anything with either method, it's gone.

    Thanks-

The only two things that came up were:
    1. A McAfee folder in Program Data but all of the files in it appear to be empty.
    2. An xml file in Program Files.

    Should I try deleting both?

Btw, this search tool is incredible.
ANy downside to keeping/using this for all searches?

If it was my computer their would be nothing that had anything to do with McAfee in any fashion.
I would remove them from my systems.

Do keep in mind that removing things with 'Everywhere' is not reversible. Once something is removed it's gone. Period. Right ticking on something gives you many options to choose from.

I use the program all the time for finding things quickly. The only downside is one must be careful what you select to remove. They do not get moved to the Recycle Bin.
