password switching applets?

hi there,
Does anyone know of any program or applets that can switch off the need for a logon password whilst connected to the home network?
I want to keep the password complex for when I'm out and about, but dont want to have to reenter it after every time the phone rings, because of the short timeout settings

the initial login would stay the same, but it would keep me logged in until i logoff or if I connect to anything other than the home network.
