    Ccleaner

I haven't updated Ccleaner software since the takeover some weeks ago.
Any negative comments and is it considered safe to update now please?

I've updated since the takeover and don't see any difference. Ccleaner works the same for me.

Ccleaner HAS been taken over by Avast.

The Ccleaner malware was ONLY in 32 bit OS version and has been corrected.

I was running 64 bit and I was infected according to malwarebytes (full edition). I note that there are a fair few negative mentions of Ccleaner on the net at the moment and I for one will not be running it pro tem!!!

I have (and still use) Ccleaner 64 bit version. I also have Malwarebytes (paid version) and it has never found any problems.
