Windows 7: Quicktime and Premiere 9

Quicktime and Premiere 9

To run Adobe Premiere 9 I'm told I need to install Quicktime, this is not now supported apparently and , according to some, could be risky to have. (thought I'd try Quicktime Lite?)
Having it seems no alternative, is there any point in installing it on a user account with no admin privileges for added protection.
Premiere would be on the admin account and Quicktime on the non-admin account, (could they even then "talk to each other")
