Windows 7: Window Snapping Software - Free Aquasnap Alternatives

Window Snapping Software - Free Aquasnap Alternatives

At the moment I am using Aquasnap Free Home Edition.
I created a thread here a while back stating that I can only use a very old version of this software on my computer, due to the fact that all newer versions seem to produce an bug where I cannot access the settings window of this program. It will show up and the second I move my mouse it goes away. I have also noticed that the program itself will not start at startup even though I can see the setting is checked.

I really like this program a lot, it runs very simple and efficient in the background.
The old version I have has a little bug where sometimes if I stretch a window it elastic bands back to the windows edges original location, which is annoying (not sure if this was ever fixed?)

Anyways I am looking for some advice from members that have had experience with Aquasnap and found alternatives that they found to be better that they could recommend?

Even in Aquasnaps old version that I have, I would imagine it will be hard to beat.
I am looking for a free program that is as lightweight, light resource and simple as Aquasnap.
Most other programs I have found seem to be more for dual monitor use which I have no use for.

I will continue to download and test some out and share what I have found also.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
Thank You

Window snapping without extra software?
I'm not talking about aero snap. I installed display fusion. I have three displays and I can snap a window to the edge of a display no matter the size of the window. Can you do this from within Windows itself?
Be careful where you get your free software or free software updates
Be careful where your get your free software or free software updates from. Some programs on certain download sites can get malware, viruses, or have pups even if the program provided was originally clean. One site I recommend is MajorGeeks they do a really good job.
Is Windows 7 backup any good? Are there better free alternatives?
I have backup setup in windows 7, but was curious if I should be using something else as well? I've yet to have to restore with it, so I'm not too trusting on it yet :p
