Does anyone know of any good duplicate image finder software?
I have "Duplicate Photo Finder" installed but it is difficult to use (or I'm not using it correctly).
It seems to only compare images inside the same folder.
It is not very accurate (e.g. it will claim that an image with text is identical to the same image without text).
Specifically I want a program that allows you to:
- Choose 2 folders
- Compare the contents
- Highlight/list the duplicates
I actually tried using it that way but it was very painful.
The new and old images were mixed in both columns.
It wasn't much better than manually doing it.
Both sets of images were backed up in zip files.
Years ago when I was using Ubuntu 10 it had a program that did image comparison.
I'll have to see what image comparison software I can get for Linux Mint.
As no one else has posted any suggestions, I'll keep using "Duplicate Photo Finder" and mark this thread as "Solved".
