    EasyBCD not working

Have set up a dual boot with 7 and Linux Mint and have now recovered Windows twice - installed Mint three times and EasyBCD five times.

Now I followed the tutorial on BCD but it broke the Windows install so I recovered the Windows and tried uninstalling the Mint and then again reinstalled it and checked in BCD and the settings are for default Window (recovered) and Mint but if I choose the Mint it will not boot into it - it will only boot into Windows (recovered).

Any advise or tips please as I have had enough of the constant reinstalling of everything.

John, for what I know, EasyBCD is only for Legacy-MBR.
If your disk is UEFI-GPT, you should use EasyUEFI. Manage EFI/UEFI boot options & Manage EFI System Partitions & Fix EFI/UEFI boot issues the easy way!

Yes mate it is a legacy MBR but somehow just seems to want to hang onto the other boot option (the secondary choice) when I choose Mint but I suppose it is working and ok SIW mate I will try that too:)
