    Hi CMMPRO1,

As you have another W7 comp, same OEM and OS, you can create your own install media.
should have a built in create recovery discs option.

Both your comps show as being shipped with W7 Pro

Your best bet for password/product key recovery

IF the comp originally came with W7 it should have an OEM sticker attached, so you wont have to buy a new one:)

if you run this prog it will tell you

Thanks for these links. This is great.

One additional question: Does anyone know if these downloads are the latest updates of each of the versions of Windows 7, or is it editions that will still need to be updated via Windows Update to get the latest updates?
Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 is all that it is you can download from to Microsoft Catalogue the following.
I put this together a while ago but am sure it is still accurate.
    Install in the following order.
First (KB3020369) is a prerequisite to install the roll up package
Second (KB3125574) is a roll up package to reduce the total umber of updated needed at the end
Third (KB3102810) will help with the high CPU usage during updates
Fourth (KB3112343) is the update client first release
Fifth (KB3172605) is the next release
Sixth (KB3161664) is the September 2016 update client release
