    Microsoft Synctoy alternatives


    If and when I move up to Windows 10 and not sure if Windows 10 supports Synctoy, so what other similar sync tools are there? A google search provides a few, but would rather get opinions from other users then test one by one. Thx.

    SyncToy 2.1 works fine in Windows 10.

I use Synctoy 2.1 to backup my files to an external hard drive. The ext. drive was initially given letter E and I have had no problems because whenever I plug it in (always the same usb slot) it is always given the letter E. Someone at Staples told me it would be safer to "echo" to a flash drive...

Hi, I've been thinking about experimenting with SyncToy to maintain an incremental backup of some data files. Having done a bit of reasearch, I found this: SyncFx - SyncToy-File Synchronization Forum This quite some time ago now, and I wonder if anyone is aware of whether this...
Synctoy is very slow-is there something that is faster/better to back up my media folder? One hard drive is primary-the second one is the backup... Or is it going to be around the same speed for anything that large?
