Do those programs have a setting to remove their "Open with" entry?

In that case, use the Find and Find Next feature in Registry Editor to search for the OpenWithList key starting from the top with "Computer" selected in the left pane of Registry Editor.

Security System - Registry Editor - Find and Find Next | Vista Forums

In each OpenWithList key found, look in its right pane to see if the program is listed. If it is, delete it the same as the tutorial below.

Revouninstaller won't work if the program is already uninstalled. You need to use it while the program was installed and it should remove all traces of registry entries.

Some Programms make new foders for Upgrades and leave tho old one.
Sometimes stay remains like "open with" or Services.
I took from Services the Path of a Service searched them in Regedit and deleted them.
After a PC-Restart I deleted the corresponding folder.
The "Open with" Items where deleted earlier in Registry.
    It#s not fine but better
