    Adding drivers to boot media

    1. extract the bootable wim from the iso/usb stick

    2. mount the boot image

    3. Add drivers using dism or similar e.g. dism++

    4. commit the image and unmount

    5. Replace the original boot.wim in the iso/usb with your updated version.

    If you need to increase the scratch space, the max in 64 bit is 1024 (undocumented by MS).

    1 Mount the image

    2 Load the winpe system hive - name it SYS and add this:

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYS\ControlSet001\services\FBWF]
    "WinPECacheThreshold"=dword:00000400
    3 Unload SYS hive

    4 Commit and unmount the image.

    In the unlikely event you need more space, you can use imdisk to create a ramdrive. Imdisk is already included in my boot media
