    So, if I build a system - install Win7 OEM - sell the computer to my wife for $1 - I'm okay?

    BTW: I love Bott's "Win7 Inside/Out." Good resource.

    I'd imagine most people who purchase OEM versions (which is exactly what I'm running, as a matter of fact) couldn't care less about MS's opinion on the legality of it.

    Questions of legality are always iffy - where do you draw the line. But I think in this case, the M$ lawyers got caught in their own underwears.
