System crashed (with BSOD), system start-up repair, software issues
Hi,
Yesterday my system crashed with a BSOD - just was able to read the line "not less or equal" at the top before it restarted.
After that, it got in an system start-up repair loop that repaired and restarted several times, after a few restarts, I hit F8 to get into the secured start mode, it worked, the system at least booted.
Today I just started the computer, the system booted directly into Win7, but most of my software is unable to start due to software exception errors ( like antivirus, cmd, slack, etc )
All of my individual settings of chrome browser etc are gone.
Only a few programs are able to start, Outlook for example, located on C:. Also, explorer stops working every few attemps to start software.
I tried to download and run the DM log software and start it as shown, but I couldn´t start the cmd. Software exception error.
Using Win7 Ultimate 64 Bit, on SSD, with multiple other HDDs connected.
Will check System Status with a diagnostics tool now to check the Hardware, especially HDD and SSD. Can you recommend one ? CrystalDisk is telling me everything is ok.
Can someone help me or at least tell me what has happened or what that start-up-repair might have destroyed ? Never had a case like this. Is there a clean re-install of Win7 necessary, or can this be fixed ?
Thanks in advance!
