I am using convertxtodvd which I have always used and never had a problem with.

This is the error I am getting when burning - Write error at 207536 (16) - Code 05 21 02 [Illegal request, Invalid address for Write]

I could do with all the help available please as this has been driving me crazy all day

Here is the complete log from convertxtodvd

    Hi and welcome

While not familir with you software, I think you may need to update the driver. What kind of dvd player? 32 bit or 64?

Perhaps you should check and make sure you are using the latest version of ConvertXtoDVD. They have frequent updates and perhaps this problem is due to a bug they have fixed in a later version. Latest version is 4.0.5.315 (sorry don't have a link) but their website currently only offers 4.0.5.312 but even that may be more recent than what you are using. Would be a good idea to update in any event, assuming you are currently using an older version of the program. Updates are free to registered users.

I know version 4 is pretty new but it has already had several updates fixing various bugs. Check help, about, in the app, and see which version you are running and if it's lower than the one I linked to above, you should download and install the updated version. It installs right over the old version and stays registered. Always a good idea to use the most recent stable, (if not beta for those of us who like to live on the edge), version.
