Have a look at the registry setting:
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
System\
CurrentControlSet\
Services\
Cdrom\
When in the Cdrom node, change the Autorun string value from a '0' to a '1' to Enable Autoplay.

You need to click Start and type regedit in the run... box and press Enter.

I hope this helps!

It did...some. When I got to CD ROM, AutoRun was already set to 1. Now what?

Hello

Did you manage to use gpedit.msc to check the AutoPlay Policies? I don't really understand what you mean, when you say "not found message when did that". Perhaps something went wrong when you did that?

Yes, after Paul black told me how to do it. Still no joy since it showed Auto Play was set to 1.

Jeannie,

Have you already tried using a different USB port to see if that may be the issue?

Hello, When I'm working sometimes the current window I am working in will shift/move behind another open window. It will continue to move till I minimize all open windows. A friend suggested it was a memory issue but I don't think so because I'm the only user on the computer to have the issue. ...

Adding 'open in new window' to search results, & opening in new window
Whenever I search in W7, I want to have the ability to open found folders in a new window. If I r-click, that option is not there. Is there a way to add this to W7? Also: When I go to 'open file location', the file's folder opens in the same window - highly annoying. In Vista, it opens in a new...
