    How to remove UpdatusUser account

I have Windows 7 Home Premium, and ran a Command Prompt: 'net user' to check for accounts on the system. I found a strange one: UpdatusUser which I've learned is created by my graphics card software Nvidia. I did a Nvidia update in the past from Windows Update. I want to remove that account...I've deleted all the Nvidia software that was installed under Programs, but that didn't get rid of UpdatusUser. I've read that you can delete the folder, but I don't have a folder with that nae (that I've seen). How do I get rid of this pesky account? I don't want it on my machine....TIA

    Hello Rokkor,

Depends what you actually mean by this statement:

Had you uninstalled the program(s) via Programs and Features > Uninstall/Change?
Or, had you literally deleted files from the Programs subfolders?

Doing the latter would have damaged the registry. Otherwise your okay.

I removed by using a third party program remover called, Geek.exe

I looked in the registry for UpdatusUser but couldn't find any listing for it there. I also tried to remove it using the command: net user UpdatusUser/delete But that didn't work, the command prompt said something about password and domain.

    Here's a screen shot:

The Syntax for NET USER is INCORRECT. There needs to be a space after UpdatusUser.
