Have you tried right clicking on the .exe file and selecting run as administrator?

I don't really understand what happens when it fails.

    Hi

This is gonna sound silly but have you tried the other exe thats quoting x64

    Why
because most 32 bit programs are smaller - note the difference x64 is much smaller

I downloaded the .zip file for v1.5.2, opened it in j-zip, extracted it and ran the same .exe file. Runs with no hitches.

When I try to run the 64a.exe it says it isn't a valid Win32 Application.

By the way, I'm using Vista 64 bit at the moment.

I wonder if he extracted the file from the .zip application?

What I meant was, did you use the Extract feature of the .zip software to save the .exe to your hard drive and then run that.

I just ran it in Win 7 and it worked fine. I got it here-

There is no installer for RAMMap. Just extract the files and put them wherever you wish. RAMMap64a.exe is not a standalone program and will not run as such. You need to run RAMMap.exe. This will create 2 processes named RAMMap.exe and RAMMap64.exe, the latter being the 64 bit process. I don't know why it was designed this way but that is the way it works.

    LMiller7,

I know what you are saying about rammap. Used it as portable app & it ran fime. Thats exactly what I was trying to do now, trying to RUN it &, kept locking up. I finally got it to run cant tell you how as it was cattiwampus.

Attached is a msg I got during the process.
