Thinking of purchasing Partition Assistant, but.............

I'm on the cusp of upgrading to the paid version of Partition Assistant (AOMEI) but I can't see anything on their website that says whether or not this is a one-off payment or an anual subscription. Can anyone help? Also, am I making the best choice? Thanks in advance.

It is a good program. The license has always been permanent ( not annual) for that version.

A license for whatever version you buy, e.g. version 8.8 is permanent. If version 9 is released next year, you can either still keep using your 8.8 - or you can pay for an upgade to version 9.

There is a thing where you can pay more upfront which includes upgrades to any future versions.

    They also often do giveaways.

Thanks for that. The program certainly looks impressive and at a very competitive price. I'm in!

Depends if you need the extra functions of the pro edition.

Well, I took the plunge and subscribed. Great value for money. So far, I've rescued three SSD's and a couple of USB sticks that I had given up on. Best of all, though, I'm now more knowledgable about the mechanics of partitioning. Feel much more confident. Many thanks for your help.
Edit: By the way, I am trying to register with the AOMEI forum, but an not receiving the confirmation email. Any idea how I can contact them? I don't want to contact tech support if I can do without it.

Not sure what is happening at the forum. Did you try registering here
    AOMEI Forum

There is a register button at top right. Is that what you tried?

Yes. I can sign in to the forum OK, but I can't post, and keep seeing this:

I'm not sure, now, but as I have to give the email to sign in, I assume so. Signing in is no problem. I might try opening a new account.

Well, what do you know? Just opened another account, same outcome, no email. Checked my Spam box, nothing. Not life-threatening, but puzzling.
