Anyone know of an alternative program to read Windows dump (DMP) files other than Microsoft's? They want an MS account to download it, there's an SDK and other crap and I'm willing to mess with. There's gotta be some third-party free and perhaps open source alternative.

Not to fully answer the question, but you can download the original WinDbg directly from the Microsoft website without a Hotmail account at all:

You can download the ISO with the whole Windows SDK (including WinDbg) and then install what you need only or get the "installer" that is in fact a "web installer" kind of fake download, which downloads only what you want to install. None of them require a login to anything and the ISO doesn't even require an internet connection after the original download.
There is a newer version of WinDbg, called "WinDbg preview" that is in fact a Windows 10 tablet program that you can get from the "MS Store" and that do require a Hotmail account to login.
