    Popup alarm timer needed

Anyone know of an alarm\timer that just pops up on screen with a small flashing message box, optional sound?

F22, thanks. What I'm looking for is an app that doesn't show on the screen until the designated time interval has elapsed, at which time a small flashing window appears and sits on top of everything else, not closing until you click it. Is that how your timer works?

I looked for the exact same thing and use free ATnotes, which does exactly that. I've used it for years on my win7 64 bit. It's a sticky note that you can set an alarm once, or repeated, and it can hide it until the alarm hits. When you set the alarm there is a Hide Note checkbox.

If you check the Hide Note it does not appear on your desktop and when it hits the alarm time it flashes the sticky note until you click it. The note is whatever size, text, color you want. ATnotes has a tray icon for all types of settings. You can see a note list of all notes, including hidden, and edit them. It's an old program but I trust it and used it for many years. I'm using ver 9.5 and it's never been upgraded since.

    Download ATnotes 9.5 for Windows - Filehippo.com

Yes, indeed. Give it a try. Don't like it uninstall. No harm no foul.
