    Otvdm installation

I am trying to run 16 bit programs on Win7x64. Using NTVDM works for most, but not all. So I am trying OTVDM but cannot install it.
I have downloaded the package, but running the .exe file results in a brief flash. NTVDM installs easily and appears in the Control Panel's Programs and Features. But, OTVDM does not. I don't know how to use it. Trying to navigate GITHUB is a nightmare (too bad it's not arranged like this forum).
    Any ideas?

Once you've installed it, just try to run the 16bit program directly as you would do with any other, just run its exe file.

Before installing you would have got an error message saying the program is not compatible, but not it should start and run natively on Windows x64. Of course, provided you're using a Windows 16 bit programs, as it doesn't support DOS ones. Use DosBox for those.

You are missing the point of my original post: I cannot install OTVDM. As I said, when I (following the Readme file) click on Install I don't know if anything has happened. A brief flash, then nothing. If this installer has placed files in WINDOWS\SYSTEM32, I wouldn't know it.
If I install NTVDM, I get that program showing in the Control Panel's Programs And Features, and my 16 bit programs work.
Then I uninstall NTVDM , my 16 bit programs stop working, I "install" (??) OTVDM and my 16 bit programs still do not work.
I therefore conclude that OTVDM has not been installed.
Ergo, what are the steps to install OTVDM and what feedback is available to show that it has been installed.

Having the most viewed Software Forum thread in over 6 months has led me to the conjecture that it has been MIS-titled.
Apparently twenty thousand Win7 viewers are interested in OTVDM, and, further, may want to install it.
And thought I was providing instructions. The title should have been "Cannot Install OTVDM", then leading to just a few dozen views.

Not one viewer has already installed it and is willing to expand upon the Readme file that simply instructs the user to click (ne, doubleclick??) on one of two "install" buttons. Which does nothing.

I apologize for the faulty title and will try to be more explicit in the future.
    Joe.
