Files save dialog extension

Hi,

I used to use (in XP) an handy software called direct folders that let me jump to any preset folder by double clicking on any empty space of a save dialog and displaying a set of folders or paths. But unfortunately (waiting for an answer from the author) it seems that this software just doesn't work anymore under seven.

Do any of you guys know by any chance some kind of utility replacement?

Hi and welcome

did you try to install the app?

It might work if you install it in compatibilty mode. to do that right click on the installer and go to properties>sompatibily mode check xp

yes of course, even in compatibility mode. The installation goes well, it loads at 7ven startup but doesn't show nor react when I try to use it. I suspect that dialog handling has change too much for the software to go along with it.

I found a replacement that works for the time being: pikysuite. It is less handy as the double clic in any empty space of a dialog is replaced now by a clic on an icon in the dialog footnote.
