    Installation problem


    I am unable to install or uninstall any program. It shows "The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation".

    Hi Navi and welcome to Windows 7 Forums

    Is this your personal home computer, or is it one that you use at work and has been provided by your employer? If the latter, we cannot assist you in circumventing any restrictions put on employees computers by employers in a business situation.

    Check your UAC and see if you are the admin.
    Until you elevate your permissions its a pain.
    To access your UAC go to the control panel and look on the upper right and you will see Accounts.
