F.lux: software to make your life better
"Ever notice how people texting at night have that eerie blue glow?

Or wake up ready to write down the Next Great Idea, and get blinded by your computer screen?

During the day, computer screens look good—they're designed to look like the sun. But, at 9PM, 10PM, or 3AM, you probably shouldn't be looking at the sun.

F.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day.

It's even possible that you're staying up too late because of your computer. You could use f.lux because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your computer look better."

It's pretty sweet, it does work and makes the atmosphere better. ^-^

Nice app thanks Free Rush, had to change the night settings a little, a bit to warm for me but it is definitely easier on the eyes for night viewing. :)

Although I want my monitor to display colours as accurately as possible, having an app like this is kinda neat :)

    It's a cool app.

    Thank you for sharing

F.LUX is a great application that s definitely great on the atmosphere as it reduces the power required by your system and also on the immediate atmosphere as it ads ambience and also reduces eye strain. 10/10 F.LUX and Yes “thankyou”.

Been using this since my XP days it sure helps me.

Nos if you do color work it is a little hard to see, but when you click on the icon in the notification center there is a check box in the lower left corner to turn it off for an hour.
