    Plugins and Paint Shop Pro

I just purchased a new Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 and installed Paint Shop Pro (PSP) X2 without any problems. I also used this program with Vista on my old laptop with no problems. With 7, however, many of my plugins do not work. I know there is an issue with using 32 bit plugins, but they worked with no problem on my old laptop (with Vista). I have no problem with the executable plugins (Alien Skin family), but many of the the .8bf plugins prompt an error as in the following example:

"Unable to load the requested plug-in fitler. The plug-in may not be installed properly or may be missing files. (Plugin: towline.8bf)"

Typically, there are two .dll files that need to go into the appropriate system folder (which I have done) in order to make photoshop plugins work in PSP.

There are two specific plugins that I'd hate to be without. The Penta family and the Tramages family.

Tons of people use this program and the plugins. Sure would like to know a fix for this.

I did browse the forum for an answer, but couldn't find anything. If it has already been addressed, could you please direct me to the thread?

    Thanks in advance.
