    Hi ,
According to CyberLink Power Director 7 is compatible with Windows 7. You can check if any firewall or Anti virus is blocking the install. Try disabling it. Make sure you remove any Quick Time alternative like K-lite codec etc before installing. You can install Quick time player from Apple website then try to install it. Then when you install it make sure you right click and Run as administrator on the setup. If your planing to upgrade maybe you can go for Power Director 8

    Hope that helps
