    Hi Stillfreefilms,
I downloaded and installed the application was able to run it fine. I guess it "The Fix For Samsung SC-MX20 Videos". First i got an error. Then i went in Right Clicked on complex.exe and ffmpeg.exe properties then went to Compatibility tab then select Vista SP 2. Then i ran the Click Here To Install.bat it opened fine.

So the Steps you could try

    1, Right Clicked on complex.exe and ffmpeg.exe
    2, Go to Compatibility tab
3, Check on the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)"
4, Then run the Click Here To Install.bat

To be honest I'm really not sure for what we use that application.

    Hope that helps

Well i won't give up that soon

    You can try something else

Control Panel > Troubleshoot > Program > Troubleshoot Compatibility problems

there you would find Converter application

Then select Vista SP 2 then try to launch

    OR

Remove all the files you installed

Then try the change the complex.exe and ffmpeg.exe Vista Compatible mode

could you try using the program all you need is a mp4 video (quicktime format) and convert it and then you can see what the probelm is and try and find a solution?

    Hi,
My name is Allen. I'm the guy that wrote the program you are having issues with.

There is an option in the program under "tools" for you to tell the program where ffmpeg.exe is.

In the file you unzipped to install, there is a clean version of ffmpeg.exe. Place that anywhere on your hard drive. Then under tools and options, just tell the program where it is.

I don't think the issue is that this program doesn't work with 7. I have had many that tested it while 7 was still in beta and they had no issues.

From reading this thread, it looks like Cptn Jack had no issues either. Just make sure you tell the program where ffmpeg is.

Be sure to read at my blog http://samsungscmx20.blogspot.com, where you downloaded the program for a step by step on how to use the program.
